Join us for a guided walk with Gardens Assistant Ripley Brenner exploring the surprising world of iridescence in the plant kingdom — the shimmer, sheen, and structural color that turn ordinary petals and leaves into something luminous. Over about an hour, we’ll move at an easy pace through the gardens, stopping to admire native species known for their otherworldly glint, and learn how and why these plants play with light.
